Prenatal Massage – 30, 45, 60 or 90 Minutes

Pregnancy is time of rapid shifts as the body grows another person and prepares for it’s role nourishing it. These changes provide discomforts and considerations that additional understanding and compassion of a knowledgeable therapist can help soothe. We have experience treating thousands of woman during pregnancy and are familiar with the numerous compensations that the body makes. We use The Body Cushion System for use in side-lying, semi-reclined, or face down positions and, are confident modifying them for all stages of pregnancy and optimal comfort of each client.

Postnatal Massage – 30, 45, 60 or 90 Minutes

The postpartum period is one of the most challenging and important times for new mothers to prioritize self-care. You are recovering physically, filled with hormones and new emotions, trying to establish a breastfeeding routine and, your baby just wants to be close. We want to make it easy for you to receive treatment. As long as your baby is able to be content for the during of your treatment you are welcome to bring them along with you to the clinic. We encourage nursing in all of our spaces; even on the massage table. You can bring them in a car seat, we have a porta-crib and toys available or, we’ll even baby wear them! We will ensure their comfort as best as possible to ensure you can relax.

Breast/Chest Massage – 30 Minutes or included in a prenatal, postnatal or therapeutic treatment 

Breast/chest tissue is a functional evolving organ of the body. It is a non-contractile structure made of secretory glands, lymph nodes and fatty tissue. Therefore, fluid retention, toxin accumulation and milk stasis can occur causing temporary discomforts and chronic issues. Periods of pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding/chestfeeding are times when the demand and function of them is increased dramatically. Additionally, the hormonal fluctuations of the menstrual cycle, constriction from bras and, breast surgeries and cancer treatments provide situations where benefits of massage are extensive. Breast/Chest massage can be incorporated into any prenatal or postnatal massage treatment or done exclusively to address your particular goals or concerns.

Hot Stone Massage – 60 or 90 Minutes

Basalt lava stones are heated and incorporated into a treatment to gently work deeper into the tissues increasing effectiveness and relaxation. They are placed along the body as well worked in with fluid strokes. They can be added to any treatment where no contraindications exist.

Pelvic Health Massage – 30, 45, 60 or 90 Minutes

Pelvic floor muscle dysfunctions and chronic pelvic pain syndromes are becoming more recognized and, pelvic conditions are being discussed as having effect on overall health. Massage therapy has an important role in understanding and relieving pain in sensitive pelvic structures externally and, can work collaboratively with pelvic floor physiotherapists and other health care providers able to perform internal assessment and treatment. We are trained in Pelvic Health Massage and Myofascial Release with a Pelvic Approach and can professionally and, respectfully address pain related to; endometriosis, painful bladder syndrome, surgeries and adhesions, IBS, prolapsed organs, pelvic vascular congestion, chronic prostatitis, sexual abuse and trauma, pudendal neuralgia, dyspareunia and sexual dysfunctions and, more. Many of these conditions may first require a medical diagnosis to determine cause prior to treating their physical presentation.
